Sujet: As one grows older, how important is it to keep souvenirs of one's past? Take examples from your own experience.

The memories can remember our past this is tje reason why it is important to conserve objects which allow remember. For instance, photographs or trinkets. Futhermore, when someone dies, the only way not to forget is watch pictures of er. The pictures allow also to recall good times, importants events of our lives like marriage or the birth of a new child. As regards the marriage, there are kids who couldn't attend a parent's wedding, this is my case. Watch pictures can to extend the event, it's like it was seen here again.
Moreover, souvenirs can see the changes: was how physically, a person in the past or what look like a house before it is destroyed. Our life is based on memories.
Nevertheless, souvenirs are not always physical. Some are engraved in our memory and they will never fade. To illustrate my point, any soldiers of WWII haven't photographs but not for any reason, they will forget the WWII events who have lived like bombardment, the rationnement, the ghastly living conditions.
I'd like to conclude by saying that it is important, as one grows older, to keep souvenirs of one's past so that nobody forgets.
